CHRISTIAN PHELPS: When clients first come into my office, they're often nervous and scared about their future and thinking no one's on their side. When they leave my office after that first meeting, they know they're in good hands. And they know that I'm going to be with them every step of the way.

A better result even is when we can get involved in the investigation when someone hires us immediately when they're contacted by law enforcement. And we can begin to work on the case at that point and participate and influence even any of the charging decisions that the state makes in the first place.

As your attorney, an important part of what I do is called the discovery phase. This is where I gather all the evidence and the police reports that the state intends to use against you. And then we challenge that evidence by thoroughly examining it, hiring our own investigators, our own experts. We interview all the witnesses. We interview the law enforcement. And we develop the best defense and the best strategy based on those particular facts.

I'm an experienced trial lawyer. I enjoy going to trial. And that's an integral part of the whole criminal process. As your attorneys, it's our job to analyze your case, apply the best strategies, protect and insulate you from the prosecution, and get you the best outcome.
